San Pedro Day 4

sunny 23 °C

we got up for class like usual at 7:30 and left to get some supplies for some stir fry that we were going to make for lunch, after we came back to our hotel we had our breakfast of granola and yoghurt, eaten like a true hippy. the whole town is filled with hippies it blows my mind. but enough about the hippies. craig and ryan went kayaking while i stayed at the hotel and slept, i wasnt feeling the best, but now i feel much better after that naping. im glad to hear im in a temperated climate while it is -35celcius and snowing at home. Life in San Pedro has been super easy going, but soon i will be anxious for the adventurers life again.

Good Morning Leigh Leigh:

I hope you are feeling well.
I just got off work so I am sipping on a cup of coffee and waiting to drive Alex into school.

Did you hear that the buses were cancelled when they were at school. So every student had to call a parent to pick them up after school. The weather was bad that morning. They should have cancelled it then. Some places kids had to stay at the school overnight. Sometimes I wonder what policies they are looking at to make these wonderful decisions......NOT!......
My theory is send the kids home early early by bus because the roads were bad, why send out all these vehicles out in the bad weather instead.

That same day, Highway 400 was closed due to a 100 car pile up. The highway did not open until the next day, only 30 people injured.

Everybody is fine here. Andrew is coming down by bus on Friday night. CarolAnn and Doug are going to Jamaca (sp).

We miss you alot.
It is so quiet around here. No Jack Johnson in the background as we are making supper.

It sounds like you guys are having a great time. I am so glad. I really enjoy your diary leigh. I think this is keeping me sane. Knowing all the wonderful things you are doing and the obstacles that happen also.

Well I better sign of now and drive Alex in and then go to bed.

Good Night Leigh.
I Love You Very Much.
Take Care.
Love Mom
